Chanhassen offers ample recreation opportunities. With 11 lakes, 5 nature preserves and a 500 acre park system there is something for everyone. There are 70 miles of trails and walk paths for people of all ages. The city hosts many community events in conjunction with the business community including the February Festival, the July 4th Celebration and the December Tree Lighting. The incredible success of these events is a testament to the sense of community found in Chanhassen.
