$1000 Education Scholarships for use in the 2012-2013 academic school year will be awarded to Class of 2012 high school seniors who will further their education at a degree granting institution: a 4-year college/university or a technical/career/business/community college.

Applications must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2012. Completed application forms (.pdf, .doc) may be turned in to your High School Career Center, mailed to the address shown below, or you may complete an online application.

Eligibility:

Applicant must be graduating in 2012 and must be a full-time resident of Chanhassen, Chaska, Carver, or Victoria, and a U.S. Citizen. The award must be used during the 2012-2013 academic year unless the Chamber approves extenuating circumstances. The Education Scholarship criteria are based on the following: A student's dedication to and involvement in work, community, school, place of worship and/or family with an emphasis on generosity of spirit - not GPA or class rank.

Finalists will be contacted to attend an interview on April 17, 2012 with Education Committee representatives. Award recipients will be required to attend the May 23, 2012 Award Luncheon at Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center.
