Committees

We encourage and welcome new committee members to help shape our priorities. Join a committee by contacting the Chamber Office at 952-474-3233 or info@swmetrochamber.com.

Ambassadors

  • The Ambassador Committee is the public relations arm of the Chamber. The committee hosts ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and welcomes new businesses and members each month. Additionally, this committee helps the Chamber with a variety of events and tasks.
  • Meeting: 1st Wednesday of Each Month; Time: 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.; Location: Varies

 

Signature Event Committees

  • We have stand-alone committees for our annual Signature Events (First Responders Luncheon, Golf Classic, and Celebration Gala).

Leadership Committee

  • This committee strategizes and helps create Leadership events, as well as education-related [e.g. the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) Foundation] projects and needs.
  • Meeting Time Varies

 

Marketing Committee

  • Marketing strategies and tasks for the Chamber (e.g. website, social media, E-newsletter, print).
  • Meeting Time Varies

 

Membership Committee

  • As the Chamber is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit membership-based association: attracting and gaining new members, serving membership, and retention are integral to the Chamber.
